About

For over a decade, I’ve been creating pieces that are both beautiful and deeply useful. There’s something special about the process of creating with purpose. My vessels at Northern Market are designed to be more than just decorative—they’re made to be a part of your everyday moments, with the durability to last for generations to come.

Baskets can be made of many materials, but choosing cotton as my medium has provided a blank canvas of possibilities in form, color and function. The cotton rope I use is spun from recycled cotton. For color, rope is stitched with GOTS organic cotton thread, or in some instances, the rope is hand-dyed by my dear friend Sonja at Eco Raw Studio in Cincinnati.

I have a bachelors of science from the University of Cincinnati in Environmental Sciences, in which my studies have set the foundation for my mindfulness and intention behind my craft and sourcing decisions. Currently, I live and work in Cincinnati, OH.
